Welcome to the Wild West...
Its the best of times, its the worst of times. In the beginning it was starvation and famine. Today its savages we have incurred the wrath of, illness we haven't seen before, outlaws that have nothing better to do, and petty wounds that could be fixed with a good stitching up, some gauze, and a sterile hospital.
Welcome to Rawhide, where if your not strong enough we will eat you alive. Make sure to turn around you carriage missy if you can't handle the heat. Oh your still here, well welcome, welcome, please do some in. We have many things from ranches to pubs, all at your disposable if you last long enough!
Sheriff! Don't scare them away... Welcome to Rawhide where the air smells like gun smoke and the music of our hearts run free. I recommend checking out Melody Ranch, they have wonderful horses to choose from, or The Liberty Pub where the drinks are colder then the bartender's eyes. We have many places, just find yourself a guide and get yourself a tour.
Psh looks how is scaring them now with the old bartender eye metaphor, anyways welcome and do enjoy your stay. Just stay on your twinkling little toes, or your libel to get lost, shot, and mugged. This isn't playtime kids, this is the reeeeeeal deal.

Season; Summer.
Year; One.
The weather has gotten progressively hotter since the spring. Severe electrical storms are abound as are mud slides, tornadoes, hurricanes, and in some areas fierce drought. Dress accordingly. The season changes in May.

Rules I'm pretty sure we all hate them, but we all have to read and obey them. The boards are not password protected, but be warned we will know if you didn't read the rules because you will break them. If you knew them that is even worse for your case. Just read the rules and make life easier.

Town of Rawhide
Houses If you want a house you have to pay rent, make sure you have 25 coins in your pocket per month. A down payment is 100 coins. You may have more then one person living in a house but no more then six excluding children under the age of 14. You all may split the cost also, once you buy a house you will get a sub board.

Melody Ranch (2 sub-boards) This is where the captured horses go, many are already tamed but you can tell by the wild look in many of the corralled equines that their lust for freedom hasn't quit died yet. Board costs five coins per month for one horse. You can buy horses from their owners, attempt to tame your own for free, or buy the horse and a tamer all in one. Money is useful here, but so is skill.

Bank While there is little to no money in this small town, any that isn't in the pockets of it fair citizens goes into the bank for a rainy day... Thank god it doesn't rain here much eh? Anyways you are welcome to deposit and withdraw money you have. So if disaster strikes you still have something to fall back on.

Sheriff Station Sheriff Station, the small little place located between the bank and the pub. The Sheriff makes sure people are not being to rowdy. He also makes sure everyone new or old to the town is having a good ole fashion time.

The Liberty Pub Equipped with a scary bartender, some show girls, tons of beer, a piano, and good times many new comers are found getting to know the citizens here. The beer is always cold despite the heat outside. On hotter of days this place will be crammed with every person in town looking for some relief. A class of beer is only a coin so drink up!

Outer Territory
Catalyst Hill Catalyst Hill, is the place Natives go to capture their horses, while all other places horses are allowed to enter without fear of capture (save if a white man enters) this place does not hold the same truth, the Natives need horses as well and wait until a horse comes by. Horses know this place means capture and tend to stay away, although some wish capture by these kind people and visit often, however the risk of forcebreeding, death, and capture by less then kind people are always a risk.

Desert Many don't dare come out this way without a trusty steed, some water, and some food. However many Natives seem to live out in these areas perfectly fine, that is until they meet up with the 'whites'. Horses come here often without fear of capture.

Oasis This is the hidden area that the Natives use to get their food, no 'whites' know about it and horses are free to drink and eat their fill.

Ceremony Grounds Sticks, bones, furs, and other things litter the dry dirt. Those who do not understand stay away from this place thinking the worst, this however is the land of healing the sick, union, and birth. Any special event to the Native People is held here along with a party of sorts. Horses are welcomed to watch.

Native Villiage Every changing this is the main village, they have never seen disaster and many wonder what their secret is, they claim it is the protection of the horses but no one seems to believe them. Tepees line the vast wasteland of desert making a oasis for any travelers.

The Wild
Horse Herd 1 This land is closest out of the four to the humans, these horses border on dark, going days without food and water just to avoid all contact for humans. The land is dryer then the others, one lone river runs through the land and a few sparse trees line the area. Only the strongest can survive in this land. Don't enter unless you know you can handle it. Forcing and Death happen a lot here.

Horse Herd 2 This horse herd is filled with many rivers and trees are sprinkling around. With shade, food, and water these horses are calm yet energetic, unlike their close neighbors they aren't bitter or dark. They aren't exactly friendly either but they are more welcoming.

Horse Herd 3 A herd that has almost everything from a waterfall, to shade, food, water, and creature comforts. They are aloof, snobbish, and the other herds tend to hate this herd, they however don't care. They think themselves as royalty due to their high living. They are also the farthest from the humans.

Horse Herd 4 Closest to the Natives, these horses appear to be the most tame yet are the most wild. They allow the Natives to ride them but will never be taken from their home, the others think them as pets and their land should be taken away but they fight hard for everything they have and even the 'whites' have a slight fear of them.
We are opening soon, I hope to get all things ready.
